2. Applications

Suitable for grinding and polishing concrete, terrazzo, marble, granite, floor tiles, ceramics, glass ceramics, artificial stone, glazed tiles, vitrified tiles, etc. Ideal for stone polishing, linear chamfering, curved plate processing, special-shaped stone fabrication, as well as renovation and repair of concrete, cement floors and terrazzo surfaces.

3. Usage Instructions

3.1 General Usage

Polish sequentially from coarse to fine grits.
Maintain full water cooling during the process; avoid excessive water in the polishing stage.
Equipped with hook-and-loop self-adhesive backing, compatible with hook-and-loop sanding pads.

3.2 Operation Steps

Backing Pad Installation: Attach the polishing pad to a backing pad first, then mount the assembly to the polisher.
Gradual Polishing: Start with 50#/100# grits to remove deep scratches, then proceed to 3000# grit for final polishing.
Operation Technique: Do not exceed 4,000–4,500 RPM. Use slow, overlapping motions to avoid pad jamming.
Surface Cleaning: Thoroughly clean the work surface after changing grit pads to remove residual abrasive particles.

3.3 Concrete Floor Polishing Process

These tools are ideal for fast polishing of concrete/terrazzo floors post coarse grinding with metal pads. The complete process involves 7 steps, using 50#, 100#, 200#, 400#, 800#, 1500# and 3000# grits sequentially:

Step 1: Coarse Grinding – Use 6#/16# or 25#/30# metal diamond pads for concrete floor coarse grinding.
Step 2: Resin Polishing – This is the final step for a glossy finish. 50#/100# grits can remove metal pad scratches; 200# grits can start creating a shiny surface (grit selection depends on actual floor conditions).
